Happenings at In-Position Technologies, a Chandler company

Neil Jacques, founder and CEO, graduated from the University of California at Davis with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1986. Parker Hannifin recruited him out of college to join their new Compumotor division to promote and apply their new line of products featuring microstepping technology. In 1989 Neil moved to Arizona to startup a regional office for startup company Motion Solutions, and then in 1997 Neil left that company to start his own venture, In-Position Technologies. The charter of In-Position Technologies, then and now, is to partner with our many customers to assist them in applying and deploying the latest technologies for manufacturing automation, especially as it applies to precision positioning systems and robotics.

Neil began his business in his garage in Ahwatukee but a year later moved it to Chandler in 1998. Today the company maintains its headquarters in Chandler, located at 7403 West Boston Street, with other offices and facilities located in Chandler, AZ; Tucson, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; Arvada, CO; Kaysville, UT; Orangevale, CA; Fullerton, CA; and San Jose, CA. In-Position will close 2019 with approximately 20 million in sales and 27 employees.
