The H.E.L.P. Foundation (A charity that supports impoverished children in the Philippines)
One of the biggest rewards of joining Rotary?  The dynamic people we get to work with.

Today our good friend Keith Hooper visited.  Keith is a Past District Governor & District Grants Chairman from Smith, KS.  A retired Lieutenant Colonel (Army) and judge, in 2005 Keith founded the H.E.L.P. Foundation, Humanitarian Efforts to Lessen Poverty in underprivileged children of the Philippines.
H.E.L.P. focuses on feeding and educating malnourished children and supporting livelihood projects for the parents throughout Quezon City, Cebu, and Bukidnon.

Projects include a robust micro loan program, water wells, a sustainable livestock (swine) program, training centers, libraries, and school sponsorship, each self-maintained.
H.E.L.P. has raised over $250,000 in grants, facilitated over 2500 micro loans, and sponsored over 800 children!

You'll want to be a part of this international outreach gem.
