Chandler High School Students Receive Scholarships

Students from the Chandler High School District received $1000 Scholarships from the Chandler Horizon Rotary Club on May 20th 2009. Students from Basha HS, Chandler HS and Hamilton HS were selected by their respective counselors and were presented with the checks at the Rotary meeting.

In the photo to the right, Pimwadee Linsirichai from Chandler HS accepts her 2010 $1000.00 scholarship from Rotary member Dr. Chuy Ortiz. Standing by her side are her parents. Pimwadee will attend ASU where she will study in Chemical Engineering with plans to go on to graduate school.

& Perry High School Receive Rotary Scholarships

Each year, Chandler Horizon Rotary Club is honored to present scholarships to one student from each Chandler High School. Each Scholarship is worth $750. Among this years recipients, is Miranda Ngan, a member of the Chandler High School Interact Club. Each of the students has plans to attend university here in AZ.   The candidates are chosen by the school counselors.
